WHAT TO EXPECT FROM LESSONS Lessons at Aino Elina Music are all about finding the easy, natural way of singing. Authenticity is the key! For musical theatre and pop/rock both, communication is the most important thing about performance, I believe. But to get to that point, we might have to work on musicality and vocal technique first. Sessions consist of: - breathing check/exercises - warm up - vocal technique - vocal health/quality check - effects - interpretation and performance skills Optional: - audition prep - harmonising, backing vocals - microphone technique For Skype lessons: All you need is a phone/laptop/pad and a fast internet connection. You'll also need another device or a speaker if you wish to use backing tracks. |
FOR ADVANCED STUDENTS: - Versatility! Learn to master 5 vocal settings/modes and switch smoothly between them - Learn to yell in a healthy way (some call it belting) and whinge with ease (some call it curbing/mixed voice) - Build your head voice stronger and more resonant, and understand its benefits and differences compared to chest voice (yell/whinge) - Vocal health check, concentrating on breath, support and tension - Truly understand support and air control -it's surprisingly simple! - Vocal effects - such as sigh/airy quality & tongue positioning FOR BEGINNERS: - Find you own, natural healthy voice - Start understanding vocal settings and how to switch between them - Learn the natural way to breath to support singing |
